It’s been a while, after some very dry times, Lake Eppalock is again lapping up near the O’Keefe Rail Trail. It has been a slow and steady decline for the last two years, as can been seen in this graph.

At less than 30% capacity only a few months ago, the 100% mark is something to see.

There may be some good spring rain ahead, and that could be a risk for trail [and the downstream residents!], but now is a perfect time to get your helmet and bike, or your walking shoes on, and check out the trail and the lake in all its glory.
