Recently, a very healthy number of the Friends gathered for an annual Christmas / year end catchup and celebration.

We like to choose a venue somewhere along the current or future trail, and this year was at the Farmers Arms Hotel in Junortoun.

Judy McLaren, as has also become a well appreciated tradition, sought the venue, and organised the lunch. And naturally, got to say a few words of welcome.

Neil McKinnon was also called upon to propose the annual pass-the-hat-around donation recipient for this year. This will be revealed in another post, stay tuned.

And, of course, Lindsay can be seen in his FBKRT bucket hat, which some are suggesting may also become a tradition.

Adrian Cummins, in his first Christmas as President of the Friends of the Bendigo-Kilmore Rail Trail, thanked all for attending, and for the incredible volunteer work that is done throughout the year, and looking forward to the great successes that will be delivered in 2025!
