Another month, another great “Last Wednesday of the Month” ride.

About a dozen of the Friends, including some new faces (welcome!), joined the ride.

The riders met at the Baptist Church carpark in Junortoun, then headed Bendigo-bound along the O’Keefe Trail. A warm and dry morning greeted the riders to a pleasant ride along the trail. A slight delay for a puncture allowed to group to have a chat while the repair was made in F1-envied time.

Continuing into Bendigo to then connect with the Bendigo Creek Trail and head northbound towards While Hills. A few of the riders mentioned it was their first time along that part of the Bendigo Creek trail, and was great to explore.

Finally, crossing the footbridge into the Botanic Gardens at our half way stop for coffee and cake at Omari café. A few of these photos might just make you hungry.

After a very enjoyable coffee, cake, and conversation, the group climbed on their bikes, and did the reverse trip back. A very relaxing pace, and back before the heat of the day really kicked in.
