Friends of the Bendigo-Kilmore Rail Trail

Ever wanted to ride the rail trail and Wellsford Forest, but lacked company? Well, join us for a guided tour on Saturday 2 October. We’ll follow the existing trail to Axedale and return through the Wellsford forest as part of this year’s Spring in the Bendigo bush. Enthusiasts will talk about the railway’s history and the plans for the upgrade and extension and guide you through the maze of tracks in the Wellsford on the way back.

It’s around 50 km, so you’ll need a reasonable level of fitness and a properly maintained hybrid or mountain bike. Limited places, so please register here. We’ll confirm your place with you at least one week before the ride.

Time: 8.45 am for a 9.00 am start. Finish about 3.00 pm
