For the last Wednesday of December, it was a chance for Friends members to help burn off any Christmas indulgence by enjoying a social ride.
The meeting place was in Junortoun, with a planned ride to Axedale and return along the O’Keefe Rail Trail. The mid point was a social coffee at the Rise and Grind Cafe in Axedale before the return ride.
Despite recent heavy rain events, the trail was in fabulous shape. With a number of cyclists, runners, walkers, and dog walkers sharing the rail trail on the day, the popularity of this trail continues to grow.
