It’s all go in Heathcote at the moment. The council’s contractors are busy with the town section of the trail, and the Friends are preparing old station sites for their new signs.

Sign of the times: along with the new section of trail, a sign marking the site of the Heathcote railway station will be installed. This is a Friends project, that will see six former station sites between Heathcote and Bendigo marked with reproduction station signs. Greg, Ken, Lindsay (and Garry holding the camera) were out preparing the sites this week.
