Have you ever thought about riding or walking many of Victoria’s rail trails? Well, cyclist Paul Baker has, with his aim of riding every current rail trail in Victoria within 2023.
On a challenging June winter’s morning, Paul met members of the Friends of the Bendigo-Kilmore Rail Trail and Rail Trails Australia’s Central Victoria Representative Jenny Mustey at Lake Weeroona Bendigo.
Paul and the other riders then set off to experience the whole length of the O’Keefe Rail Trail, from Bendigo to Heathcote, while meeting other members of the Friends group along the way.
With the 29th trail completed for Paul, it was another step towards achieving his rail trail cycling goal for 2023!
