There was enjoyment to be had for riders cycling Bendigo’s urban trails on a regular monthly Wednesday ride in February. Those trails included the O’Keefe Rail Trail, Bendigo Creek Trail, Back Creek Trail, and the Spring Gully Trail.

Friends of the Bendigo-Kilmore Rail Trail member Pam Erny was elated during the ride, “How lucky we are to have these trails to ride on! The beautiful old trees and the bird life to go with it, I loved it.”

“What a fantastic ride, including a great spot at the Tram Cafe, the setup there is lovely, friendly staff and good coffee. The nearby tram museum is interesting too. A lovely ride was then had to Spring Gully.” said Pat Dorey.

A bonus for riders was to also have member Lindsay Clay leading the ride, sharing snippets of information along the way. Riders voted it a wonderful day full of special experiences.
