Earthworks are underway in preparation for the construction of new toilets and shelter for users of the O’Keefe Rail Trail in the Longlea area
The planned project is being funded from the City of Greater Bendigo’s 2022-23 budget, which the works also includes off-road carparking spaces, tables/seats, bike racks, and landscaping.
With recent weather conditions contributed to delays for the contractor, it is expected that progress will now occur. Trail users planning their late winter or early spring adventures can do so knowing that the popular O’Keefe Rail Trail will have more quality facilities available
