With recent significant storm events ⛈️ in central Victoria, such has caused flooding and road closures. These events have also impacted the O’Keefe Rail Trail.

While the trail’s Campaspe River bridge was submerged with high river flows, the bridge is now clear for trail users to access. Users in this area need to be aware of trail surface erosion.

Yet the trail’s Lake Eppalock crossing has been submerged by high water levels and sustained damage plus debris.

Hence, the rail trail is currently closed to all users until further notice. The public must abide by the council’s closure of this section of the trail.
