At Peppercorn Park, part of the O’Keefe Rail Trail’s new trail facility is now open, with the Longlea Lane carparking area being available for public use. Easy to access, this area allows for a much safer gathering point location close to the trail.
One summer holiday activity for families is to ride or walk some of the O’Keefe Rail Trail. Or perhaps combining a walk with a picnic lunch at the rail trail’s Axe Creek bridge near Longlea Lane. This is a pleasant creek side area, with its spectacular bridge plus table and seats.
