Interested in hearing about the excitement and participation that Cycle Friendly Bendigo brings, and how the O’Keefe Rail Trail is becoming a key to encouraging recreational cycling and walking in central Victoria? The Friends of the Bendigo-Kilmore Rail Trail will hold its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 5th August, with cycle medallist and commentator Scott McGrory AOM as the guest speaker.
Coming direct from commentating for the Channel 10 coverage of the Commonwealth Games, Scott will impart his passion of promoting cycling in Bendigo and central Victoria. This will be an opportunity to hear of Scott’s experience and views about involving members of the community in the various aspects of local cycling, as well as the impact that recreational cycling and walking will have on future tourism growth.
The meeting will be held in the Cycling Rooms, Tom Flood Centre, off Water Street, Bendigo on Tuesday 5th August at 6:45pm. All are welcome.
